CCDD Visiting Scientist, Carlos Castillo-Chavez, selected for distinguished Yerby Diversity Lecture
The lecture is open to the public and will take place in Kresge, G1 from 12:30 –1:30pm. Lunch is provided.
Castillo-Chavez was selected as the fall HSPH 2011 Diversity Yerby Lecturer and will lecture on transmission dynamics of infectious disease. The title is “What can mathematical models tell us about the transmission dynamics and control of infectious diseases: Lessons learned from past epidemics including the 2009 influenza pandemic.”
