Harvard School of Public Health
Director of Recruitment Programs & Special Assistant to the Associate Dean of Diversity
Felisa received a MS in Business Management from Emmanuel College, one of the Colleges of the Fenway, and her BA from the home of the terrapins, University of Maryland at College Park. After graduating, Felisa worked for the Department of Health and Human Services– first at the National Institute of Mental Health, and later the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, which sparked her interest in public health. She later realized her passion for outreach after working for a superintendents’ association on school health and wellness policies. She co-created the first interactive health pavilion for thousands of superintendents, and enjoys thinking of ways to generate interest of public health issues using her creativity. She has been at HSPH since January 2008 and joined the Center in January 2010.
