2017/11/06 @ 9:00 am - 2017/11/07 @ 2:00 pm

The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in conjunction with the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics presents the Sixth Annual Outreach Conference to Increase Diversity in Mathematical Modeling & Public Health.

Conference Dates: Monday, November 6 – Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Boston, MA

This conference is for undergraduate students or students in a post baccalaureate program from underrepresented groups who have an interest in public health and mathematical modeling, and are studying quantitative disciplines at their home institutions.

This interactive conference will serve approximately 60 students. The one and a half day event will include scientific talks from researchers and graduate students who use infectious disease epidemiology and mathematical modeling to solve problems in public health; professional development and networking opportunities; and hands-on sessions where students will have the opportunity to practice the concepts and skills they are learning.
