March 28 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Headshot of Alyssa Bilinski

This hybrid in-person/virtual seminar will be presented by Alyssa Bilinski, Peterson Family Assistant Professor of Health Policy at Brown University School of Public Health. The in-person portion will be held in Kresge G3 and does not require registration. Register for the seminar here.

Alyssa Bilinski is the Peterson Family Assistant Professor of Health Policy in the Brown University Departments of Health Services, Policy & Practice and Biostatistics. Her research lies at the intersection of policy evaluation and modeling, developing novel methods to assess real-world program impact and using resulting estimates to inform future projections. She will discuss pitfalls of popular “difference-in-differences” analyses with infectious disease outcomes and propose alternatives informed by transmission dynamic theory. Outside of work, she enjoys powerlifting and all-day baking projects.
