ID Epi Seminar Series – Sonja Lehtinen

Sonja Lehtinen is a postdoctoral research associate at ETH Zurich and works on the relationship between pathogen ecology and evolution and public health. Her research to date has focused on explaining puzzling trends in the frequencies of antibiotic resistance in Streptococcus pneumoniae. Her current work centerson the role plasmids play in resistance dynamics.
