Aishani is a first-year at Harvard College working in Michael Mina’s lab on all things engineering the future of immunology and epidemiology. She is interested in the intersection of biology, technology, computation, and policy through lenses of international risk management, security, governance, and the relationship between the public and private sectors. A Silicon Valley native, she has worked at biotech start-ups and given a TEDx talk entitled “Cracking the Allergy Nutshell” and enjoys moonlighting as a science writer and occasional editor. Aishani also writes for the Harvard Political Review and is a member of the Institute of Politics’ Policy Program. In her free time, you can find her making and trying new food, going on long hikes and bike rides, watching late-night comedy, and always talking with people.
