Keya is a PhD student in Population Health Sciences concentrating in infectious disease epidemiology, advised by Dr. Marc Lipsitch. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Public Health Studies with a minor in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and Entrepreneurship & Management. She received her MHS in infectious disease epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2017. Her research interests include the development and application of novel statistical and epidemiologic methods to model the spread of infectious diseases.
