The Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics (CCDD) has been a key center for research and policy analysis on the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and has been at the forefront of the COVID-19 response. Since early 2020, CCDD has published more than 160 original research papers on SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19. Our experts regularly advise local and state health departments, including Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, and the States of Massachusetts and California, as well as international Ministries of Health, on issues ranging from impacts of human mobility on virus transmission to vaccine prioritization and evaluation. This unique expertise builds on more than a decade of ground breaking research on infectious disease dynamics and development of new methods to study them. CCDD’s novel approaches and tools to fight infectious diseases are used by public health agencies globally.
