Identifying vulnerabilities and supporting patients during COVID-19: cohort studies in 7 LMICs (ID Epi Seminar Series)

Dale Barnhart’s research focuses on the application of epidemiological methods to implementation science and program evaluation. She completed her doctorate in epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2019. As a research fellow with Harvard Medical School and Partners In Health, she supports global health research capacity building in Rwanda under the mentorship of Bethany Hedt-Gauthier. In partnership with Partners In Health-Rwanda/Inshuti Mu Buzima’s Infectious Disease and Research departments, she conducts and supports research on Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV. She additionally serves as a technical advisor and founding member of the PIH Cross-Site COVID-19 Cohort Research Network, which helps to coordinate and facilitate COVID-related cohort studies across eight participating PIH sites.
