(Former Bio) Camila T. Franca was a postdoctoral fellow in Michael Mina’s lab working to understand the development and maintenance of humoral immunity against endemic and epidemic infectious diseases. During her PhD (University of Melbourne, Australia) and previous postdocs (Walter & Eliza Hall Institute, Australia and Harvard, US), Camila helped identify and prioritize targets of protective immunity against Malaria for vaccine design, and developed new human immortalized cell lines for functional (in vitro) studies.
