Shae Gantt

(Former Bio) Shae Gantt is a first year Master of Science student in Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She graduated from the University of South Carolina Beaufort with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. She has conducted research on mathematical modeling of disease dynamics and also attended the Epidemiology Summer Program at Harvard T.H. Chan in 2019 where she studied the impacts paternal smoking has on children’s neurological behavior.  Shae is interested in the mathematical modeling of global infectious diseases that primarily affect vulnerable populations.
